Our History
In the year 1992, Essem entered into Oil & Gas refineries providing the then advanced and sophisticated equipments for mechanical maintenance through automated high pressure hydro-jetting operations at plants. Essem has brought in new technology in the country to reduce the downtime in the plants like, Hydraulic Tube Bundle Extractor, Power lance along with High Pressure Hydro jetting Systems, which are some of the tools, which have enhanced the safety operation in the process industry and reduced the downtime. Since its inception, Essem has expanded mechanical maintenance services, especially hydrojetting cleaning, to other process industries like power, aluminum, sugar, chemicals, etc as well.
In 1996 Essem entered into the upstream business of Oil & Gas to provide the Geophysical Software solutions to Oil & Gas Exploration Business. It expanded its business in E&P business, not only in geophysical software solutions but also ventured out to provide geochemical, seismic data acquisition equipments, services, high end computing solutions.
Meet the Team
Mr. Lalit K. Mattu (Managing Director) is a Mechanical Engineer by training and is an entrepreneur. After schooling in Delhi and Baroda, he joined M.S.University Baroda and in 1973, from where he qualified as a Mechanical Engineer After serving in some of the top names in the Corporate World such as Ballarpur Industries, Larson & Tubro and TELCO, he started his own business in. He is engaged in the Up stream and Down stream sector of the Hydrocarbon Industry.
Mr. Samir Mattu (Director) has completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore, and his engineering from VIT, Vellore. Spending the initial years of his career in financial industry with institutions like ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and IL&FS, he joined Essem in 2012 and has been spearheading the expansion of the company ever since. Under his guidance Essem has made forays in various industries and has accelerated automation of cleaning services, thereby enhancing safety, performance and reducing turnaround time.
Mr. T. N. Bhan (Director Operations) is an industry veteran with experience of over 40 years in various process industries, such as Sugar, Distillery and Brewery; both at Plant level looking after the overall activities of production, sales, liaison and administrative functioning as well as at the Corporate level looking after planning & implementation. At present is responsible for the operation of company’s Hydrojetting Business.
Mr. Summet Raina (Vice President Marketing) has a rich experience of over 25 years in the Indian E& P Industry. His responsibilities include sales and marketing, business development, techno-commercial operations etc. of the Geoscience Division. He has visited principals facility in Europe and have attended various National international Oil & Gas conferences including European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and Society of Petroleum Geophysicists (SPG), India.
Mr. Pankaj Sharma (General Manager Marketing) An Engineer by Profession has rich 27 years experience of Sales & Mkt in Core Sector. He plays a vital role in strategizing the Sales & Marketing. He has been instrumental in introducing the automation solutions in the field of High Pressure Hydro Jetting for Power generation & Process Industry.
